Location: the hotel was very close to other main wineries in the Hunter, great cafes and key Hunter attractions and the Lovedale attractions. Seafood restaurant Big Tuna Fish Co was located 10 minutes walk away. Loved how the suite with stunning views of the hunter valley was arranged when we arrived...

The check-in process was efficient, and the staff were friendly and excellent. I loved the historic-style building and the fashionable room that offered stunning views of the Hunter Valley. The presence of a laptop-compatible safe, central heating, and an iron added to the comfort of my stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The funky room with a speaker made it feel like home. The breakfast, coffee in the fridge and snacks made me feel pampered. This hotel was also pet-friendly, which was perfect for me as I traveled with my furry friend. The spacious and modern room had breathtaking views of the surroundings, and the verandah was the best spot to chill and take in the stunning sunset.
Nothing for me.

The location of the hotel is great! It's very close to many attractions in the area, which was handy. the breakfast was nice, and we appreciated the different options available. the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with some nice extras like a good quality hair dryer.
We had a pretty negative experience overall. We stayed over Christmas, and there was no festive atmosphere at all.

Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the privacy during our stay. The provision of breakfast was quite handy and the room was clean and well-furnished. The hotel is located within easy driving distance of local attractions.
The shower could use better water pressure and there is no reception area to provide necessary information during check-in. , we had to drive quite a ways to get to local restaurants and there was no clear access to a communal area for guests to relax in.

the communal lounge area was a great addition stocked with plenty of food and entertainment. Our room was clean, open and spacious with great views of the sunset from the balcony. Highly rated restaurants were nearby and we preferred the smaller, more intimate vineyards nearby. Breakfasts were delicious with plenty of options. the heated limestone floor in the bathroom and double vanity were a great advantage.
The hotel does not have a blanket available for use during between seasons, which would have been a nice addition.

I recently stayed at a unique Hunter Valley retreat and it was absolutely incredible! The rooms were modern and spacious, with a comfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful landscape. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a great variety of options. The host, Ian, was welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions. I had a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience at this hidden gem. I highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat.

This hotel is the perfect escape for a luxurious and tranquil retreat. Our suite had exclusive amenities that surpassed our expectations. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchenette, the comfortable bed, and the relaxing spa bathtub. the private garden area provided a serene atmosphere perfect for meditation, while the BBQ facilities and outdoor dining area offered a delightful experience for dinner. the breakfast service was delicious with fantastic room service, and we appreciated the picnic tables for a secluded outdoor meal.
The only minor issue we had was with the limited variety of TV channels in the leisure room. Despite this, we still had a delightful stay and would recommend this hotel to others looking for an exceptional and restful retreat.
